Interview with Robert Butwin

A23248 523099593 7132 NIt’s almost a month since I blogged – even I have to shake my head for myself. Well, I don’t like giving excuses but I had to take necessary action to improve myself and grow in my professional endeavor. So my dear readers, it’s for the greater good but now I am back stronger and better. First, let me kick off with an interview I had with Robert Butwin last year regarding Network Marketing. Please, click HERE to read the article that precedes this one. I believe this chat would be highly beneficial to all those thinking in this direction and everyone adopting entrepreneurship. Enjoy!

Can you give us an insight into your personal data: age, wife, children, grandkids, etc?

I’m 58, married to Bonnie – an amazing woman, our son Marc is 22, our daughter Randi is 20 and we have an adorable Grandson named Memphis (he’s 11 months old)

Why did you choose this line of business?

Coming from a business background – I was looking for a way to create the kind of lifestyle that would allow me to do things on my own terms. I got tired of the politics in the workplace and tired of working a job.

Do you regard Network Marketing as a win-lose scenario; where a winner and a loser must emerge for the game to work?

On the contrary, MLM is a WIN-WIN – the only way you win in this game is helping others win. Everyone who purchases the product receives value for what they’re spending – so everyone wins!

What are the challenges associated with Network Marketing?

Other people’s perceptions and their beliefs

Talking about perception, how do we know your perception is the TRUTH?

Fruitfulness and result will always confirm truth.

There is a perception in my country (Nigeria) that only few people reap from the network marketing while the others make a loss; what is your take on all these?

Those that do the work are those that will reap the rewards; most people will end up only being wholesale distributor because they like the product of the Network Marketing Company. That is why you have to ask yourself, would I buy the products even if I am not making any money.

What’s your take on the “First come, take all” mantra?

It does not suffice; most of my 25 years in MLM I have never worked in a company that is less than 4 years old and I have always become a top producer. This is a good way to vet the company because most companies can never make it that long. It does not really matter when you get into the game.

In your experience as a networker, what are the values and traits you look for in a successful down line?

Open and honest communications; he/she must be focused in the right direction.

Now let’s talk about money, what is the highest amount you have earned as a networker?

80, 000 Dollars per month

Are you talking about Hong Kong Dollars or New Zealand Dollars?

(lol) No, United States Dollars!  I have been making a lot of money for a long time ad I won’t deny that I have also had one-hit wonder but I have been stable on 80K per month.

Have you ever lost your money in any networking marketing program; which one and why?

I’ve never worked a company that’s gone out of business – and in every business I’ve built I’ve invested money and in the long run it has always worked out.

I know you do not own any Network Marketing Company, you are simply a Networker; can you recommend a good company to invest in?

To be continued…………..
