For the Love of money………

Schemes are abound everywhere and they seem to be the mainstream in Nigeria; every employee is talking about them. Forums, blogs, sites and even mine are crammed with money making schemes. Are these schemes sustainable? Naturally, I would say no to that. Can these schemes make you say “bye-bye” to poverty; then I would proudly say it depends on the person. Almost all (if not all) schemes with High Yield Investment are Ponzi and it doesn’t take a genius to know that but most times people are blinded by money that they just never want to know. The Bible stated clearly that Adam knew that Eve was deceived, but he went along.More...

If you are not risking, you are still not living; I actually salute those that go for this schemes for whatever reason. The underlying factor here is not that the scheme is Ponzi but you are smart to know this. Let me give you a typical example; almost everybody that goes to the US embassy knows he is likely to be rejected VISA but he/she goes anyway. I know a friend of mine that traveled to Abuja to get a Swedish Visa; he spent 26K using Virgin Nigeria, took cabs around Abuja running up to 8K, paid for the VISA fees amounting to 10.8K, lucky to have spent the night with a friend or he would be looking at the least a lodge of 7K/night/room and spent 3K on courier to send back his original document and passport after processing. At the end of the day he was rejected VISA after spending 47.8K (almost 50K integrating Taxi to and fro Muritala Mohammed Airport).

Now if you ask this guy to bring 50K to Sefteg, it might be difficult for him to do that because his perspectives are not aligned with such. Even, if he puts his money in it, he becomes jittery until he is paid (wow, this is definitely not a good way to live). There was also a friend of mine that bought a Honda Bullet for 800K from Cotonou and 1 week later the engine knocked. What has happened to him? He definitely would not find it funny so is investing in High Yield Schemes, you know it might bust (if not, you need to think again) but you can definitely go into it knowing that if you fail, you fail and come out of it with the monies you cannot imagine. When this is successful, it is your duty to diversify or if greedy, go again. It’s all up to you.

When making comment on my popular thread-NOSPETCO, I make emphasis on managing your earnings; it’s not about the risk but about management of risk. A lady friend of mine told me something that baffled me; she got returns from one of these schemes and placed more money together with her earnings. This is definitely greed or what would I call it? But this must also be critically emphasized; your placing your money in any scheme does not make a scrupulous guy better than you. In fact the guy that does not risk may love money more than you that the take risk. This reminds me of a guy that I call Pastor in my office, he boldly said in my open office that he doesn’t love money and he has reservations on coup is coup. I was quite perplexed not with the statement per se but with the mindset. I knew he was lying because a few weeks earlier, he was complaining about his salary to me and he felt bad about his pay. I also witnessed the day he was arguing with his “vulcanizer” on 10 naira. People tend to be deluded and don’t like telling themselves the truth.

I tell everybody in my office that the only reason I come to work is to collect money; nothing else. I am beyond challenges at my stage; I have peaked almost a year ago in my field of work. I needed something fresh but I wake every morning and go to work simply because of money. So I wonder why people delude themselves quoting scriptures like “For the love of money is the root of all evil”. They don’t read the entire chapter to understand that the only reason Paul wrote this to Timothy was to emphasize contentment which bring abundance living. The ability to know when to stop amassing wealth; an indication of when to stop risking your soul for money is the high point of true wisdom.

The parable of the talent by Jesus called the guy that did nothing with his talent as being wicked, the guy that got 5 talents from 2 was also appreciated but the guy that made the mega box of 10 talents was applauded and he was rewarded with the talent of the guy that did not invest his own. This brings a different scenario to a whole aspect of risk taking; if you get more resources from ventures, it’s your responsibility to do something about it. Out of all the coup is coup, I chose 6K 4 you. Why you may ask?

  1. It has the highest returns out of all the coup is coup I know.
  2. It has a multilevel marketing model which ingrains sale skill into you.
  3. I was able to understand the model and know that before I earn the 6K USD, the organizers would have earned 7.8K USD which is quite a spread for the guy to keep on doing business.
  4. It’s quite transparent because you can determine the way you go and there is a customized site for you to track your development.
  5. It only takes 24K naira to start; it would definitely not affect me. I have lost more than this in life.
  6. If I reap 6K USD, I have the chance to earn more without putting anything.

Since I started, I have reached the third level of the feeder board of Club freedom in just 1 week of registering. Very soon, I would get my 6K USD debit Master Card. I promise to show you guys my card on this site if I am giving. If I am not, well, that is the way the cookie crumbles……………………………..
