I was in awe on Tuesday watching Michelle Chamuel’s rendition of “True Color” in The Voice S4E14 and it definitely inspired the heading of this article. It reminded me of the power of originality and how it makes you stand out amongst competition. However, originality needs company to be the best of originality. Last week Sunday’s meeting of “Grow to Greatness”, I discovered a new perspective of the Scriptures’ “Do not forsake the assemblies of thy brethren”. I realize how important it was for individuals going through the same challenges to fellowship together.
In the meeting, while discussing on the contradiction of Nigerian Blogosphere to entrepreneurship growth, one of the participants explored a different approach to the Linda-Bellanaija analysis I did on “The Lessons I learnt from Nigeria Blogosphere”. He attributed the growth of Linda’s blog to originality and backed it up with varying examples – I was totally inspired. In meetings like this, participants show their true colors and become naked to critique – a necessary step to true growth. Participants allow other participants into their failures, mistakes and challenges while wise participants take instructions.
I see an opportunity that could be harnessed here hence expanding the number of 5 entrepreneurs that attend the meetings to 10 to accommodate and aid other entrepreneurs to grow. After 2-Sunday meetings, I can authoritatively tell any entrepreneur that this meeting would definitely help you grow as entrepreneur. I am a witness and I can testify. If you are interested, see details below.
