Â
Twenty years ago when Tolu was still in secondary school, he decided to visit a friend living at Argungi, Lekki. This was his first time visiting this part of Lagos and he was a bit excited about the whole journey. The experience was not as he thought it would be; the bus ride from CMS to Ajah was just too long and his walk from the Argungi Bus Stop to his friend’s house was another long and horrifying experience; there was not a single house in sight and the road was quite lonely. He felt like turning back most of the time but he kept thinking of the stress he went through to get to his present position.
Â
Â
It was quite difficult getting to his friend’s place but at last!  he was there, all sweaty and dusty. The house was the only house in the street and he immediately communicated his mind to him; “I don’t think I can ever stay in this kind of placeâ€. His friend looked at him and smiled and he immediately knew his friend understood what he was talking about and he replied his observation; “land here is very cheap, for ten thousand naira, you can get a plot of land.†His mind immediately drifted to his uncle, who just got back from Chicago, who was earlier talking to his dad about buying land.
Â
Â
When he got home that day, he immediately told his uncle about the land and his uncle’s reaction was swift; he drove him to his friend’s place the next morning though his uncle kept complaining about the long distance and the area. His uncle later got to talk to his friend’s dad and he was taken around to see the land. On their way back home, his uncle said that the price of the land is very good though not as cheap as Tolu put it but the area was not developed. This was his exact words; “I do not think there would be any civilization in Argungi in 50 yearsâ€. His uncle later bought about 10 plots of land at Mushin at five times the amount of the Argungi Land.
Â
Â
Every time, his uncle sees him today, he always regrets his action. Why? Because contrary to his uncle’s assertion, Argungi is one of the choicest area in Lagos now and the estimated price of a plot of land (if you can see it) is nothing less than thirty five million naira. His uncle would have been sitting on gold now because he built houses on the land he bought in Mushin. This simple mistake happens to so many people. Two years ago, Tolu saw his friend’s dad in Alitalia’s First Class lounge in Barcelona Airport but he knew his uncle can hardly take a business class flight on Ethiopia Airline.

Though Tolu is a fictitious character and the story a fable that has the sembance of a true story, experiences like this, shapes my life. So many people have extolled me for selling helmets when the price was quite high but I tell them all the signs were there to see into future. 7 months before today, the Lagos State government talked about the impending ban on motorcyclist without helmets, so it was easy for me to anticipate huge demand though I did not anticipate a one thousand percent return on my investment. This is what happens in every investment all over the world; a piece of information can tell you where you can reap the greatest. Is it in Stocks, Real Estates, Commodities or Business, it is the same; just a piece of information on how the trend is going can decide if you would fly economy class or first class.
Â
Â
Now, I am going to tell you a piece of information which I believe you all know but are not doing anything about it; the Lagos State government has been planning for some years now to build the fourth mainland bridge; it starts from Ikorodu and ends in Victoria Island. The only reason why Argungi has become a choice area with such huge demand is because of its closeness to Victoria Island which is the high-end economic hub of Nigeria. Just like my uncles despised Argungi, so many people will despise Ikorodu and in the near future would remember Dipo’s site because I would be offering some plots of land for sale in Ikorodu.

The land (Set Garden) is situated along Ijede road (for those who know Ikorodu, know that Ijede road is an easily assessable road. It lies in proximity to several other estates and the PHCN thermal station, Egbin. It is also close to the location of the proposed Lagos 4th Mainland Bridge. It’s about 15mins drive from Ikorodu garage.

The going price for a plot of land of this caliber in this area is six hundred thousand naira only (N600, 000.00); Suave Garden in Ikorodu with longer distances to the main road goes for nine hundred thousand naira (N900, 000.00). However, with my help, you can get a plot land in SET GARDEN before 28th of February, 2009 for Four Hundred and Ten Thousand Naira only (N410, 000.00). All plots of land come with certificate of occupancy (C of O). Please, kindly click HERE for more information and interest. Other forms of payments can be looked into but they come at a huge cost. Thank you.
