It’s been 5 months since I had launched this site and the traffic to this site has exploded in an exponential manner. And who else to thank but God who is my source of inspiration in every step I take and my dear readers especially those who give feedback through comments, filling the contact forms and sending mails. There are also some readers that tell their friends about this site and to you I really appreciate it (and I want to let you into a secret – whatever you make happen for others, God will make happen for you). There is a banner at the bottom of this page with an inscription “Tell your friendsâ€, you can click on it and tell your friends all about the site.  What can I say but to do a recap of the vision and mission of this site?
The vision of this site is to improve lives of Nigerians through thought-provoking articles and providing job seekers resources. I can very much attest to the implementation of this vision; I can barely write an article if it does not provoke your thought, the article makes you take a step back and review what you always consider as being right. In as much as I would love to educate and inform, but I know that lives would not change without an exchange of thought power. It is our thought that guide us, makes us who we are and determine our level of happiness and joy. I am very happy when I see opposing comments to my article because I know the person’s thought has been provoked to the point of trapping his feelings and views and also comments that are in sync with the article which also provides a source of encouragement to my view point. All in all, I believe we are all going to better people through participating on every thread I initiate.
Providing the job seekers resources has been a passion for me and a sense of fulfillment. The unemployment situation in Nigeria is very murky and any source of light may bring hope to the vast number of graduates whose hopes and aspiration can be dashed, if they become unutilized. When God created man, the first proposition was for him to work and the ability for man not to work is incongruous to the program installed in him by God. When man is not involved in any work, all manners of vices are introduced to his system thus a breakdown in the societal law and order. This is the situation we find in Nigeria, where an unutilized and talented graduate is involve in Advanced Free Fraud and used as Political Thugs, where high school graduates are congesting the universities instead of taken their polytechnic appointments, where Engineers and Pharmacist are too proud to take up a banking or financial consulting job, where natural-born entrepreneurs are forced to tow the career line and where fresh graduates are willing to take any sign of oppression from prospective employers (being beaten by police at test center, unnecessary delay of time lag during interviews, etc)
This is my passion to improve lives and I hope you are all benefiting from it. But I will not fail to appreciate fellow bloggers and site owners who have inspired the contents of this site. I made a tribute to ten of them 2 months ago and if you are interested in knowing them, kindly click HERE. There is one outstanding Nigerian lady who is not amongst this ten and she has inspired me in everyway possible way. She bagged her PHD below the age of 25 and attributes this exploit to God almighty. She uses the pseudo name – LIFE OF A STRANGER, I want to say thank you aunty TLOASCM. To all those who have granted me interviews – Seun, Dammie, Dupe, Gbolahun; I want to say a big thank you.
And not to forget my dear wife, who has stood by me in every way possible. She is truly a source of support and encouragement. I TRULY LOVE U.
