 Prerequisite before sitting for PMI- RMP exam

To apply for the PMI-RMP, you need to have either:

  • A four-year degree (bachelor’s or the global equivalent), with at least 3,000 hours of project risk management experience and 30 hours of project risk management education.OR
  • A secondary diploma (high school or the global equivalent) with at least 4,500 hours of project risk management experience and 40 hours of project risk management education.

  2. Please, if I register for the online course, is there a certificate issued at the end of the course?

    Further, I am a lawyer of 6 years but I am not sure about having a 30 hours of project risk management education or experience. I have been involved in a lot of transactions that are not defined as risk management i.e. legal work, legal advisory, etc. Do I still qualify
