The paradox that keeps giving – The supply for Project Manager vacancy is higher than the demand in a country that believes there are no jobs. Every week, I get job notification globally and locally from various sites and clients. The issue does not seem plausible as people keep asking me for Project Manager jobs that they have no apparent skill and capacity to execute. Please, develop yourself? No, I want the job! Please, develop yourself? No, I want the job! Please, develop yourself? No, I want the job! OK, I give up. Then they ask again; “Please Dipo, I need a Project Manager job?” When I say every week, I mean every week, I get Project Manager vacancy but nobody to fill the vacancy. Today, I saw the subject-head notification from my LinkedIn and I was baffled. These are NOT global opportunities but in Nigeria.
